Version 0.30 released

Enhancements:
* Support for Bloglines.com synchronization
* Allow using files as feeds (using file:// in the feed prefix, for example: file://C:\rss.xml)

Bugs Fixed:
* Fixed few bugs in the Download Web Page.
* Fixed 'Conversation' field to use the title from configuration rather than from the feed.
* Fixed a bug that prevented parsing of feed with 'version' property not in small case.
* Prevent multiple downloads of the same image on web-page download
* Improved compatibility with other programs running Outlook ('Active Sync', 'HideOutlook' etc.)

Comments:
The download doesn't work?!

Just tested it and it seems ok. What's the exact problem?

Hmmm...

The link opens the Page http://www.rsspopper.com/download/RSSPopper030.exe, and there is a HTTP 404 error, File not found.

Are you behind cooperate firewall? it might block you from D/L exe files. I've added a ZIPed version, tell me if it helps you.

No, there is no Firewall and nothing is blocked. I downloaded every version before, and the exe link of the 0.29 version you had on the download page some hours ago worked fine also.

Both links (exe & zip) could'nt found at the moment. Is the download server spelling case sensitive with the filenames? I can download everything else fine on other sites. ;)

Weird. I've added a mirror server, please try D/L from there.

Mirror Server works fine for me. Thx for your fast help and again for this nice program.

Keep on the good work!!!

I've tried to get RSS Popper to open up a local file (representing the local version of the latest news feed from my web site - so I can look at it prior to uploading and publishing it). However it doesn't seem to work for me (I get an error when trying to add the feed to the list).

Please can you tell me the exact file format string required (slashes or backslashes for directory separators, can it cope with spaces, with spaces do I need to enclose everything in quotes, etc.) The prefix for local files I'm used to in Firefox, etc is "file:///, rather than when you quote on your web site - it it correct?

If I could make this new feature work it would be a very good addition. Thanks for your help - and for a good program.

Format example:
file://C:\rss.xml

i just love this smooth little plugin for outlook!

My outlook 2003 won't exit memory anymore when I quit since 0.30d installed.

I can confirm the exactly same problem with MS Outlook 2003.
