Version 0.34 released

Enhancements:
* Improved Atom 1.0 support (HTML rendering)
* RSS Popper for Outlook Express release.

Bugs Fixed:
* The GUID of RSS feed item was not stored.
* Fixed several issues with page download.
* Removed "Cache-Control" http header. Some sites had problems with it.
* When downloading full webpage - there was a problem when the webpage was redirected (failed to download images)
* Fixed a bug with relative path in the 'Link' field of the feed.

Comments:
How come it forgets all of my read entries when I install 0.34 over 0.33? It's showing me all of the feed entries that I've already read, and anything that's mentioned in the feed shows up as new entries.

I'm hoping this is a bug rather than the default behaviour for the future :-)

Excellent software.

I’ve just discovered the “Download Web Pages” which is excellent except that everytime I open a message (the downloaded page” in Outlook 2002 then close it I’m asked if I want to “Save Changes”. Happens even if I open then immediately close the message (without even scrolling).

Any Ideas ?

Ian

I had all my existing RSS subscriptions re-download all the feeds as well.

About the "Save Changes" - After downloading the page, the message contains images. When you open the message Outlook embed the images to the message - thus changing the message and asking you to save it.

In version 0.34f, trying to grab a customized developerWorks Atom (0.3) feed gives an "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error. It does work in RSS mode, so not a big deal.

After a few days with new version I receive this error message "The expected DTD markup was not found. Line 1, position 1" for http://amnezja.org/rss.php feed.

I works find for me, check again. I might been a temporary problem with the feed.

I love it! :)

I tried RSS Popper once about a year ago I guess and could get it working the way I wanted. This latest build works perfect for me.

Offline images. Sagi, you rock!

It doesn't work for me:

RSSBandit works greate but your app...

Weird. It works just fine with my version. Try 0.35a (which I'm going to place on-line in few hours).

New version also displays errors.

This error appears a few days ago. I use company proxy but with the same settings RSSBandit works OK. This is very strange.

Best regards
IGIdeus

After installing version 0.35c I receive this message:

Failed while reading feed: Amnezja.org
Message: Index was outside the bounds of the array

I works fine for me. Do you use any special settings?

I downloaded the newest version, but I do not find the settingbar that easy.
For instant you could integrate a fast setting line or stuff.

all the best,
